- !FunkyDemo
- ----------
- Version 2.00 (07 Feb 1992)
-
- The original funky archimedes demo featuring loads of tracked music, ray
- tracing, fractals, vector graphics etc.
-
-
- Instructions:
- - Get a colour monitor if you dont have one already.
- - If possible, connect your computer to a large stereo hi-fi
- (to turn off the internal speaker(s), type F12, then 'SPEAKER OFF', then return twice)
- - Turn down the lights.
- - Run '!FunkyDemo' application
- - Use the left mouse button to quit and the middle button to pause.
-
- This is a P.D. demo, meaning you can freely copy and distribute it, but no
- disc containing it may be sold at more than £2.50 sterling. Also, it may not
- be distributed at all by any companies which sell discs containing only P.D.
- software for more than the same amount. (This unfortunate limitation is a
- consequence of large software houses selling P.D. discs at vastly inflated
- prices and as sweeteners for highly profitable business deals - it should
- not affect morally legitimate P.D. suppliers and users.)
- All files inside the '!FunkyDemo' directory must remain unchanged with the
- exception of the directory '!FunkyDemo.!S/Tracker' which may be used and
- distributed seperately according to the conditions given in
- '!FunkyDemo.!S/Tracker.!Help', and '!FunkyDemo.TWILIGHT' which may be used
- seperately.
- (P.D. stands for Public Domain)
-
- '!S/Tracker' Was originally written by Hugo Fiennes and Fabrice Mercier [(c) The Serial Port], SWI interface and other bits were added by Matt Farrow.
- (This is provided complete with all files except the one put in by the PD
- company who distributed it.)
- Funky dance moves and use of colour monitor by Alpen "mine's a snakebite"
- Patel.
- ARM coding and music by John Graley.
- Compacted fractal animation data provided by Dave Beaumont.

- PS.
- If you like the demo, please feel free to send me a fiver or so - and if I
- get enough for a colour monitor I'll write an even better demo.
